Shortbread cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 375 g (13.2 oz) butter
  • 250 g (8.8 oz) sugar
  • 2 Packets Dr. Oetker vanilla sugar
  • A little salt
  • 250 g (8.8 oz) Wheat flour
  • 250 g (8.8 oz) Dr. Oetker Gustin
  • 125 g (4.5 oz) almonds (ground)

Instructions
 

  • Cream the fat and gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Stir in the sifted flour mixed with Gustin by the tablespoonful. Before the flour is fully incorporated, the dough will be very firm.
  • Then lightly knead in the rest of the flour and the almonds, and pipe the dough in S-shapes or wreaths on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 Fahrenheit) on the second rack from the bottom for approx. 10 – 15 min.
